Wow.
Saw a very brief clip from Sherlock Holmes. ( this is what I was hoping for!! tiny mild spoiler )
This film might just know what it's doing. I have faith.

So tonight I watched two movies. Oddly enough, they're each the movie that tickled my romantic bone at various points in my past. I'm 30. I can have a past. Shoot, I realized the other day I've had a silly crush on the same guy for seven years... which way beats out the whole chasing after the wrong guy in college for three years. Time, perspective... *shrug*

Still unsettled by Dexter five hours later. *stares off in thought* Well, snap.
Dexter finale. ( my reaction is a spoiler )
I'm almost as bad about posting here as I am about posting on my regular blog.
So folks here (who don't know me on Facebook) may not know I'm pregnant. 20 weeks.
Little bugger likes to kick a lot. :P

My 2009 New Year's Resolution generator said:
Take evening classes in Kirk.
*chuckles* So next year I watch Star Trek every evening? In the words of Chekov, "I can do that!"

Hello my lovelies!
I am need of a corset for a themed wedding I will be involved with in May 2010. I just need it for the one day, but I need to find one that fits me ASAP since the seamstress can't start on my dress until I have one. So anyone that has a corset I can borrow I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks muchly,
Auzrais

Hello again my friends,
If you are reading this, it is because I am about to head off to Southeast Asia on another one of my crazy trips into the cultural underbelly and the jungle undergrowth. You are reading this because you would like to come along in the flesh, or in the only way you can - by travelogue. Many of you are my friends and family back home who have followed my other journeys. Some of you are fellow travelers that I've met all over the earth. All of us share a passion for learning about what the world is like when you get off the beaten path and taste what secrets it has to offer.
This begins a journey of two months through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and probably several other countries, depending on which way the wind takes me. I hope you will join me by reading these posts and feeling the wind blow through your own hair out somewhere across the pacific...
...In a land once known as Siam.

Watched for Chris Pine and Kevin Durand. Got bonus Ryan Reynolds.
And Nester Carbonell with Matthew Fox? teehee...hahaha! They were great.
ETA: And Jason Bateman. I think most of the fun of the movie was watching the actors have fun.

I have been working on getting a big girl job for a while; the most recent one has fallen through. I was a finalist, but no crown for me.
Thankfully, another opportunity has arisen.
I'm traveling to Southeast Asia for two months to work on some non-fiction projects. There will be tech writing and travel writing, but also fiction writing and adventure blogging.
Perhaps one of the coolest parts is that
chris_reynaga is coming, too.
This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime adventures, and a fantastic opportunity.
We fly out of San Francisco tomorrow at midnight. We'll be in a plane for a while. I'm bringing a notebook.
